The just-over-the-shoulders style

When it is freezing cold, there is no way to avoid wearing a thick coat, unless you don't mind getting sick. However, there are times in which the coat hides how beautiful you look underneath. Have you ever been in that situation? Well then, there is a new trend that provides the solution: just wear the jacket or coat over your shoulders – no need to use the sleeves. Yes, we are talking about the way old ladies used to wear their jackets, that rather elegant style which would somehow remind us of certain grannies. Well, it is no more a granny style – on the contrary, it is the last trend in town. Sometime ago, Olivia Palermo started to show up dressed like wherever she went, and, predictably, everyone followed. Nowadays such look is seen everywhere – Miranda Kerr is a regular, and the Delevigne sisters showed up so in their sister's wedding some days ago, as we saw in a previous TFB post. In both the London and NY Fashion Weeks, the just-over-the-shoulders style was all around. Obviously, if it is really cold and you are just walking down the street, I would still make use of my coat's sleeves to get warm. But if you are arriving at a party or at a dinner with friends, or just because you feel like, you will look fantastic! Shall we try?
